Summary

Endless Surf does not have accounts, servers, or analytics of its own. Your progress is saved only on your device. The one thing that does involve a third party is advertising: the game shows a single optional ad, provided by Google AdMob, that you can choose to watch to revive after a wipeout.

Who is responsible

Endless Surf is developed and published by Samuel Sanchez, an individual developer. If you have a question about this policy or about your data, write to logikorz@gmail.com.

What the game itself collects

Nothing is sent to us. The game has no servers of its own, no account system, no login, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDK. It never asks for your name, email address, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location.

The game does save your progress, but only in a file on your own device:

This file never leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes it, and with it all of your progress. We have no copy and no way to recover it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Endless Surf is free and is funded by a single, optional rewarded ad. When you run out of hearts, the game offers to let you continue if you watch a short video. Declining simply starts a new run. There are no forced ads, no banners, and no interstitials.

Ads are served by Google AdMob. To do that, Google's software inside the app communicates with Google's servers — this begins when the game launches, because an ad is prepared in advance so that it is ready if you ask for it. Google acts as an independent data controller for that processing, and may collect and use:

DataWhy
Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android)To select ads, limit how often you see the same one, and measure results
IP address, and an approximate region derived from itTo serve locally appropriate ads and comply with regional privacy rules
Device and app information (model, operating system version, app version, language)To deliver an ad the device can display
Ad interaction events (ad shown, video completed, ad tapped)To measure performance and detect invalid traffic and fraud

We never receive any of this data ourselves. We only see aggregate, anonymous totals in our AdMob dashboard, such as how many ads were shown.

Google's own privacy policy governs what they do with it: policies.google.com/privacy. Google also publishes the list of partners it may share advertising data with: business.safety.google/adspartners.

Your consent, and how to change your mind

Before any ad is requested, the game runs Google's User Messaging Platform consent flow. Where the law requires it — for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom — you are asked whether you agree to personalised advertising, and your answer is respected. If you decline, you still get ads, but non-personalised ones.

On iOS 14.5 and later, Apple additionally asks for your permission before any app may use the advertising identifier to track you. You can change that answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

You can also reset or restrict advertising identification through your device:

Children

Endless Surf is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, contact us and we will act on it — though in practice the app has no mechanism by which a child could send us anything.

Data retention

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Your progress file lives on your device for as long as the app is installed. Data held by Google is retained according to Google's own policies, linked above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to it or withdraw consent. Since we hold none, requests about advertising data should be directed to Google using the links above; for anything else, or if you are unsure where to start, write to logikorz@gmail.com and we will help.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.

Nada llega a nosotros.
